Resources, Grief, Money

-- Article on Grief & Loss --

At the request of Margie Baxley, publicist for Phyllis Schieber, I was invited to write an advice article for Phyllis's blog re: aging and dying parents. In this piece I discuss things like how to take care of yourself, while addressing the closure one needs before and after someone passes.

I'd like to invite you to check out my article at:

There are a lot of people out there inventing new green products or services that somehow advance their community to be healthier, happier and  more sustainable… yet despite a great product or service they are unable to make ends meet and sadly, many of them fade away. Today, on the Conscious Discussions radio show, we will be finding out what can we do to help our idea bloom in this world… with today’s economy? We are going to learn some encouraging business advice from author Lisa Sims. She has written a book on the subject, she has a radio program on the subject… and she lives it too. Join us for this fascinating discussion, at 10-11 AM (pacific) - or access the archived show at your convenience: Stretching That Dollar

www.greenamericatoday.org - I found this resource through an editorial article written by Keith Barker, editor of the Recycling Product News Mag – recyclingproductnews.ca

www.conservancy.bc.ca – saw an article in the West Kootenay Advertiser regarding the Land Conservancy’s work - Info: “West Kootenay Community Field School (series of nature-events hosted on-site, identifying flora/fauna/insects,etc). They’ve been  working since 1997 saving special places throughout the province – they are BC’s leading charitable land trust…have protected more than 300 properties…works with many levels of government, community groups, etc… have over 7700 members!"  *I hope to have a representative from this organization on Conscious Discussions Talk Radio show in the future.
